The effects of organic fertilizer on thegrowth，photosynthesis and fruit quality of Lycium barbarumL.inHongsibao District of Ningxia were studied.Ningqi No.7 Lycium barbarumL.was used as experimental material.Theeffects of four kinds of organic fertilizers，including cowdung，sheepdung，pigdung，biogas slurry，and two bio -organic fertilizers including humic acid and principaljun，on the growth and development，growthindex，fruit quality and photosynthesis of Lycium barbarumL.were studied.The results showed that the application of pig manure was conducive to the plant height of Lycium barbarumL.which was 128.60cm.The effect of cow manure on the growth of Lycium barbarumL.crown was the most obvious.The application of organic fertilizers significantly increased the transpirationrate，stomatal conductance and intercellular CO₂concentration of leaves，significantly increased chlorophyll content and photosynthesis of Lycium barbarumL.leaves.Applying organic fertilizers promoted fruit development and yield increased obviously，which was 72.36～ 4 352.75 kg/hm²higher than that withoutfertilization，and effectively improved the quality of Lycium barbarumL.fruit.Sheep manure had the best effect on increasing 100-grainweight，soluble solid solution，soluble sugar and vitamin C content of Lycium barbarbarumL.In alkaline calcareoussoil，the application of organic fertilizer can improve soilfertility， and promote the growth and yield of Lycium barbarumL.At the sametime，it can effectively enhance the photosynthesis and product accumulation of Lycium barbarumL.leaves，and effectively improve the quality of Lycium barbarumL.
