The pot experiment was adopted to study the effects of potassium on grain yield and quality of strong gluten wheat. The results indicated that potassium fertilizer application increased grain yield of wheat significantly by 10.2% to 24.8% due to enhancement of wheat plant height, spike length, 1000 - grain weight and grains per spike. The grain protein content and wet gluten content were improved while the sedimentation value was not obviously effected by K fertilizer.
