Sulfur coated urea is a nice and cheap slow-release fertilizer.It has bright future in the region along the Yangtze River in Anhui Province,etc.In order to evaluate its' effects on the main crops in those areas,field trial experiments were conducted on crops of rice,rapeseed,and rape.The results showed that sulfur coated urea could significantly improve the biological traits of these crops,and increase their yields and benefits.Compared with effect of urea,yields of rice,rapeseed,and rape increased by 8.3%,13.9% and 21.4%,respectively and benefits increased by 1180.5 yuan/hm2,901.7 yuan/hm2 and 10204 yuan/hm2,respectively.These results indicated that the sulfur coated urea should have good effects in the region along the Yangtze River.
