Through investigation,sampling,and analysis main tobacco cultivated soil in Simao city,the nutrient contents and characteristics of various types of soils were studied.The results showed that the organic matter,available phosphorus,available nitrogen,pH,available potassium and available zinc were in an appropriate amount for the flue-cured tobacco,exchangeability magnesium was rich,available boron and water soluble chlorine were strongly deficient. According to the existing problems,some improvement measures were also put forward in this paper.It was suggested that controlling N,supplying P,increasing K,adding B and Cl,rational application Mg and zinc on it's deficient region,applying alkaline fertilizer to acid soil in Simao city.
