Based on the overview of the crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis,the merits and shortcomings of different diagnosis methods were summarized.It should be a trend to combine the non-destructive measurement with the traditional crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis.On the soil testing and fertilizer recommendation,the technology of the extensive crop nitrogen nutrition diagnosis should be strengthened so as to increase the accuracy of the formulated fertilizer.Therefore,a comprehensive index system of different crops nitrogen nutrition diagnosis should be built.
