An experiment was carried out on field to investigate the effects of various nitrogenous fertilizers on the yield,the contents of the nitrate and the quality of Panax notoginseng.The results indicated that various nitrogen fertilizers had a notable effects on the yield of Sanqi,the yield of different treatments were higher than the contrast,the orders were: NH-nitrogenous fertilizer > nitrate-nitrogenous fertilizer > ammonia-nitrogenous fertilizer > nitrate-ammonia compound fertilizers.All together,fertilizations could increase the heavy metal content and the nitrate in Sanqi so as to have a part negative effect on the qualities.
