As a new kind offertilizers，microbial fertilizer plays an important role in the action of reducing fertilizer use andimproving fertilizer utilization efficiency.Microbial fertilizer can activate the soilnutrients，improve soil physico -chemicalproperties，antagonize soil -bornepathogens，increase fertilizer utilizationefficiency，as well as promoting plant growth andsynergistic nutrientabsorption，increasing the resistance ability of plants，improving quality ofproducts.Current domesticsituation of microbial fertilizer industry was introduced from the aspects of microbial fertilizerproduction，applicationand industry management in thispaper.Issues and suggestions were proposed based on the analysis of products quality， application technology and social congnition.
