Changes in acid-base buffering characteristics of red soil under long-term different fertilizations

    摘要:

    土壤酸碱缓冲能力是表征土壤抵抗酸化的重要指标,明确长期不同施肥下红壤酸化特征及酸碱缓冲性能的变化,对红壤酸化防治和耕地质量提升具有重要意义。选取红壤旱地30年定位试验的不施肥(CK)、单施化肥(N、NP、NK、PK、NPK)、化肥加秸秆还田(NPKS)以及单施或配施有机肥(M、NPKM)共9个处理,分析了各处理红壤酸度、酸碱缓冲容量等指标的变化及相关性。与不施肥处理(16.89 mmol·kg-1·pH-1)相比,各施肥处理红壤酸碱缓冲容量均显著增加(19.08~28.01 mmol·kg-1·pH-1),其中增加幅度最大的是NPKM和M处理,分别增加了6.53和11.12 mmol·kg-1·pH-1。土壤酸碱缓冲容量与有效磷、阳离子交换量、有机质、碱解氮、全氮和全磷均呈极显著正相关(P<0.01)。长期施用有机肥提高了土壤阳离子交换量和有机质含量,是红壤酸碱缓冲容量提高的主要原因之一。长期施用有机肥既可有效防治红壤酸化,又能提高红壤对酸的缓冲能力,是红壤酸化防治的有效措施之一。

    Abstract:

    Soil acid-base buffer capacity is a considerable indicator of soil resistance to acidification.It is of great significance for preventing red soil acidification and the improvement of soil fertility to clarify the changes in acid-base buffering characteristics of red soil under long-term different fertilizations.Based on a 30-year field experiment on a red soil,the changes in acid-base buffer capacity,cation exchange capacity (CEC) and acidity index of red soil were determined under the treatments of no fertilization (CK),single application chemical fertilizers (N,NP,NK,PK,NPK),chemical fertilizers plus straw returning (NPKS),NPK with organic fertilizer(NPKM) and organic fertilizer alone (M).As compared with no fertilization treatment (16.89 mmol·kg-1·pH-1),the acid-base buffer capacity of red soil in fertilization treatments significantly increased to 19.08~28.01 mmol·kg-1·pH-1.The highest increase was found in NPKM and M treatments,which increased by 6.53 and 11.12 mmol·kg-1·pH-1,respectively.Soil available phosphorus,CEC,organic matter,available nitrogen,total nitrogen,and total phosphorus were significantly positively correlated with soil acid-base buffer capacity (P<0.01).Long-term application of organic fertilizer to increase CEC and SOM is one of the main reasons for increasing soil acid-base buffer capacity.Long-term application of organic fertilizer not only prevents red soil acidification but also improves soil buffer capacity to acid,which is one of the effective measures to improve the quality of red soil farmland.
