In order to study the influence of soil pH on the contents of mineral elements and conventional chemical components of cigar tobacco leaves，89 soil samples and 89 tobacco samples were collected in Laifeng，and the relationship between soil pH，mineral elements and conventional chemical components of cigar tobacco leaves were discussed by using correlation and gray correlation analysis. The results showed that the average soil pH was 5.99，and 80.9% of the samples with pH between 5.5-7.0 were suitable for tobacco growth. The contents of calcium and potassium were higher，which were 7.5% and 6.5%，respectively，and total sugar and reducing sugar were lower，only 0.46% and 0.19% in cigar tobacco. The soil pH was significantly or extremely significantly positively correlated with the content of calcium，total sugar and reducing sugar in cigar tobacco leaves，and was extremely significantly negatively correlated with the contents of boron，manganese and potassium. Grey correlation analysis indicated that the correlation coefficient between soil pH and the content of total nitrogen in cigar tobacco leaves was the highest，followed by boron and phosphorus，and then potassium，total sugar and nicotine. We should scientifically and reasonably regulated soil pH，balanced mineral element nutrition of tobacco leaves，and improved the quality of cigar tobacco in Laifeng cigar planting area.
