Effects of rotation with green manure and biochar application on production capacity and economic benefits of peppers under continuous cropping in karst mountainous areas

    摘要:

    为缓解贵州喀斯特山区辣椒连作障碍问题,设置了6个处理(CK:冬闲-辣椒,辣椒季不施肥;PP:冬闲-辣椒,辣椒季常规施肥;80%PY:油菜-辣椒轮作,辣椒季减施20%化肥;80%PL:箭筈豌豆-辣椒轮作,辣椒季减施20%化肥;80%PYB:油菜-辣椒轮作,辣椒季减施20%化肥+增施生物炭;80%PLB:箭筈豌豆-辣椒轮作,辣椒季减施20%化肥+增施生物炭),探究绿肥轮作配施生物炭对喀斯特山区连作辣椒生产能力和经济效益的影响。结果表明,与PP处理相比,绿肥轮作和绿肥轮作配施生物炭处理使干辣椒产量提高了54.65~ 1134.14 kg/hm2,增幅为2.11%~51.78%,同时还可以显著提高还原糖(增幅为2.72%~64.65%)和维生素C(增幅为5.12%~93.62%)含量,并降低硝酸盐含量(降幅为7.94%~29.33%)。与此同时,绿肥轮作和绿肥轮作配施生物炭处理还显著提高了辣椒植株的氮、磷、钾养分积累量,有利于提高肥料利用效率。此外,与PP处理相比,绿肥轮作和绿肥轮作配施生物炭处理的辣椒产值和纯利润分别提高了2.11%~51.78%和3.93%~52.13%。综合来看,绿肥轮作和绿肥轮作配施生物炭均可以提高贵州喀斯特山区连作辣椒的产量和品质,有利于养分积累和肥料利用效率的提升,同时能够实现连作辣椒经济增收。整体来看80%PYB处理对连作辣椒产量提高、品质改善以及肥料利用率与经济效益提升的效果最优,因此推荐在减肥20%的条件下采用油菜-辣椒轮作配施生物炭模式作为缓解喀斯特山区辣椒连作障碍的最优技术策略。

    Abstract:

    In order to alleviate the problem of continuous crop barrier of pepper in karst mountainous area of Guizhou,six treatments were set up,including winter fallow-pepper rotation with no fertilizer application in the pepper season(CK),winter fallow-pepper rotation with conventional fertilization during pepper season(PP),oilseed rape-pepper rotation with 20% chemical fertilizer reduction in the pepper season(80%PY),common vetch-pepper rotation with 20% chemical fertilizer reduction in the pepper season(80%PL),oilseed rape-pepper rotation with 20% chemical fertilizer reduction and combined with biochar application in pepper season(80%PYB),common vetch-pepper rotation and 20% chemical fertilizer reduction combined with biochar application in pepper season(80%PLB).The effects of green manure rotation with biochar on the production capacity and economic benefits of continuous cropping peppers in karst mountainous areas were investigated.The results showed that green manure rotation and green manure rotation combined with biochar application treatments increased the yield of dry pepper by 54.65-1134.14 kg/hm2,with an increase of 2.11%-51.78%,compared with PP treatment.At the same time,it significantly increased the content of reducing sugars(with an increase of 2.72%-64.65%)and Vc(with an increase of 5.12%-93.62%),and reduced the nitrate content(with a decrease of 7.94%-29.33%).Meanwhile,green manure-pepper rotation and green manure-pepper rotation combined with biochar application treatments also significantly increased the accumulation of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium nutrients in pepper plants,which was conducive to the improvement of fertilizer use efficiency.In addition,the production value and net profit of peppers in green manure-pepper rotation and green manure-pepper rotation combined with biochar application treatments were increased by 2.11%-51.78% and 3.93%-52.13%,respectively,compared with PP treatment.In summary,green manurepepper rotation and green manure-pepper rotation combined with biochar application could improve the yield and quality of continuous cropping peppers in the karst mountainous areas of Guizhou,and could be conducive to nutrient accumulation and fertilizer use efficiency,while being able to achieve an economic increase in the income of continuous pepper cultivation.Overall,80%PYB treatment had the optimal effect on yield increase,quality improvement,and fertilizer utilization and economic benefit enhancement of continuous cropping peppers,therefore,it is recommerded to adopt the oilseed ropepepper rotation combined with biochar application mode as the optimal technical strategy to alleviate the continuous crop barrier of peppers in karst mountainous areas under the condition of reducing fertilizer application by 20%.
